While we welcome volunteer workers to assist in the work involved just having you as member is helpful. The larger the membership, the more clout we have to be listened to and to organize events and votes.

For the Elections Act we need 50 members who are eligible voters. Are you eligible to vote?
You may vote in a local government election as a Resident Elector if you:
Are 18 years or older on the Election Day.
Are a Canadian citizen.
Have lived in B.C. for at least 6 months before the Election Day.
Have lived in the area for which you are voting for at least 30 days before the Election Day.
Are not disqualified from voting for any other reason.
You may vote in a local government election as a Non-Resident Property Elector if you:
Are not a Resident Elector in that community.
Are 18 years of age or older on the Election Day.
Are a Canadian citizen.
Have lived in B.C. for at least 6 months before the Election Day.
Are the registered owner of real property in the area for which you are voting for at least 30 days before the Election Day..
Have not be disqualified from voting for any other reason.
